Sales Information & Shift Log Setup

Learn how to upload sales information to Bizimply, track sales and set up the shift log

Uploading Sales Information to Bizimply

Uploading your sales information from previous years is a great way to set your targets and compare your sales year on year.

Bizimply gives you the option to do this by allowing you to upload a CSV file to your account quickly.

How to do this:

  1. Login to app.Bizimply.com.
  2. (You need to be an admin on the account to have access to this.)
  3. Click on your name/email in the top right of your screen.
  4. Click Settings > Company Settings > Sales Import.
  5. Select Import Type, Location and Date format.
  6. Always download our sample CSV file before uploading.
  7. Why is this important?
  8. Your upload must be in the same format as our sample CSV. All details must be under the correct headings for the upload to be successful.
  9. Once you have filled in the CSV file with the correct information, choose the file and upload. Please note this may take a few minutes!

Tracking Sales in Bizimply

You can input sales in Bizimply along with any other daily information regarding the running of your premises in the shift log. 

The sales information will be requested under the Sales Area of this shift log.


  • Login to your Bizimply account. 
  • Go to the shift log tab.
    • You must have the shift log module turned on in your account.
    • You must be in a location to go to the shift log section.
  • Fill in the information requested in the shift log (including sales)
  • Click Save at the bottom to save the inputted information.
  • The shift log can be customised to include your own sales areas, set metrics and any questions you wish to ask your managers or staff to input at the end of every shift. 

Shift Log Setup

Our Shift Log feature is a great way to ask questions, track sales and monitor issues across your locations each day.

To use your Shift Log in your Bizimply account, you must first switch it on in the App Centre.

To do this:

  1. Login to your Bizimply account. Please note, you must be logged in as an admin to access the App Centre.
  2. Click on your name/email address in the top right hand corner.
  3. Select the App Centre.
  4. Select 'Get' on the Shift Log app.

Now that you have applied the Shift Log to your account, you can start using this feature. In our Shift Log feature, you can choose what information you would like entered daily, depending on what the most critical metrics in your business are.

To setup your Shift Log:

  1. Login to your Bizimply account. Please note, you must be logged in as an admin to change Shift setup information.
  2. Click on your name/email address in the top right hand corner.
  3. Click Settings > Shift Log Setup.
  4. Here you will be given three options: Shift Setup, Daily Metrics and Daily Questions.
  • Shift Setup - Capture information for the day or after each shift in all locations. Eg. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, end of day sales.
  • Daily Metrics - Record sales after each shift by switching on a sales area and naming it. Eg. Food, beverage. You can also keep track of your labour hours worked and switch on any miscellaneous metrics you wish to monitor.
  • Daily Questions - Here, you can switch on the option to enter your key staff, shift overview, marketing, operational and any additional questions you would like to ask.

Once you are happy with the information you have set up in your Shift Log Setup, this will be applied across all your locations.

Benefits of using the Shift Log:

Having your key staff use the shift log will make it easier to monitor important metrics on a daily and weekly basis.
